The Hayward Animal Services Bureau is a public, city funded agency that focuses on the well being of its citizens and animal population weather it be pets, strays or wild life. The shelter’s staff is committed to creating the most comfortable, loving and humane environment for all of its residents. The shelter promotes animal welfare through a variety of services which include adoptions, field services, stray animal intake, owner surrenders, low cost spay/neuter vouchers and dog licensing. Tuesday: Noon – 6pm
Wednesday: Noon – 7p

*Saturday: 11am – 5pm
Closed Sunday, Monday and all Holidays
*Please note on the last Saturday of every month the shelter is open from 11am – 5pm for lost animals only

Wayne
Wayne is a seven-year-old red Miniature Pincher that has the attitude and agility of a pup. He is an active boy that knows what he wants and is not afraid to tell you, in a nice way, what he needs. He loves direction, is driven and may be a good agility candidate with training of course. Due to his nature, he would be best in an adult-only, single dog home even though he is dog friendly.

Page
Page is a sweet and mellow three-year-old smoke colored (white undercoat with black top coat) domestic short hair. Page enjoys her toys, especially catnip, but is most content being close to her human companion. Whether it is snuggling up on the couch to watch TV or sneaking under the covers at night, Page just wants to be there. She would love to meet and fall in love with you. |
