Pied Piper Players Holding Dog Auditions For the Role of Sandy in Production of Annie

Dog Audition fees to benefit Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA shelter animals

Pied Piper Players is holding auditions for a friendly, well-behaved dog to play the role of Sandy in their upcoming production of Annie, one of the most-loved musicals of all time.

WHAT:   Dog Auditions for Annie
WHEN:   Sunday, September 9 from 10 am to 12 pm
WHERE:  PHS/SPCA’s Tom and Annette Lantos Center for Compassion,1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA

A $10 audition fee is required for each dog and all proceeds to benefit Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA’s shelter animals.  All dog breeds and sizes will be considered, but there is a preference for dogs with some sandy coloring.  Dogs must enjoy being around people, especially young children and must not be afraid of noise.  Dogs do not need to perform any special stunts, but if they know any tricks, Pied Piper Players may showcase them during the production.

Annie will be performed November 9-18 at Bayside Performing Arts Center located at 2025 Kehoe Avenue in San Mateo.

Pied Piper Players has partnered with the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA to hold dog auditions for prior productions including the role of Toto in The Wiz, a modern twist on the classic Wizard of Oz.
