6 Doctors Swallow Legos…For Science

Parents you might worry about stepping on a lego, but do you worry about your kids swallowing them?

A group of doctors wanted to take that worry away from you and decided to conduct the weirdest science experiment of all time.

Six doctors each swallowed a lego head to see how long it would take to move through their digestive track. Want to take a guess? It’s quicker than you think. On average it took about a day and a half before the doctors saw the lego head emerge. They wanted to do this to prove to parents it’s okay if your kid swallows a small plastic item. It will eventually come out.

Except for one doctor who said it’s been two weeks now and he still hasn’t seen it, but he is not concerned.
