More than 66,231 acres have burned as of Monday, and at least 96 structures destroyed and 17 others damaged. Many have been forced to evacuate or need to seek shelter elsewhere, Airbnb has expanded its “Open Homes” program to provide housing for displaced residents and relief workers during the emergency.

This housing costs $0 when booked through the Open Homes program.

New Airbnb hosts in Lake, Mendocino, Napa, Solano, Marin, Sacramento, Glenn, Tehama, Sutter, and Colusa counties can opt to list their homes for $0 and offer accommodations to those in need.

The Open Homes program runs now through November 7th. More than 760 hosts have offered their homes to people displaced by the Kincade Fire.
