Do you feel like your boss appreciates you? Have they ever done anything to show you how much they appreciate all your hard work? This boss is setting the standard for showing her employees how important they are.
Gypsy is the owner of a restaurant in North Carolina named State Farmers Market Restaurant and she recently decided to close her doors for a couple days. It wasn’t because of a health scare or anything like that, it was because she wanted to take her 20 employees to Disney World for the weekend. WOW!
Not only did she cover the tickets for all 3 days, she paid for the hotels and all of their meals while they were there. I can’t even imagine how much that would cost! They of course got to bring their families with them and one of the employees was pretty emotional. She said that there was no way she could have paid for this trip for her and her 5 year old son and she will be forever grateful.
Gypsy says she did it because she wouldn’t have a business if it wasn’t for her employees and she just wanted to show them how much she appreciated them.
So if your boss ever wonders how he or she can show you how much they value you, show them this.
