The attractions included; Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train, Flik’s Flyers, Francis’ Ladybug Boogie and the 3-D show “It’s Tough to Be a Bug!”

The new superhero Marvel themed area will feature characters from Marvel Comics and it is set to open in 2020!

So long and farewell to #abugsland which closes its doors today after 16 years of entertaining children and adults alike! This place holds a lot of memories for me, because it was the first new #pixar themed land that opened when I worked there in 2002 (I used to clean the restrooms and queue lines when I was in the custodial dept in this new land) also, . There really was not a lot of kid friendly attractions back when the park opened in 2001. Also, my best friend from high school worked at #itstoughtobeabug and she would show me all of the little hidden secrets of the show during our breaks! My niece loved #francisladybugboogie it was her favorite #attraction in the whole park! And #abugslife was my favorite pixar film (right next to #coco of course) I’m kinda sad this is going away forever but, I do know that whatever is coming next will probably blow kids and adults away and future generations will look back on this land and say hey “I took my kids there”! So with that I say goodbye #flik and #princessatta thank you for all of the wonderful memories! 2002-2018 #californiaadventure
