Celebrate The “Dark Arts” At Hogwarts Castle This Spring!

Every loves a good guy right? Harry Potter is a nice kid that had a tough life and it’s hard not to like him and his owl. But there is just something about the bad guy that we all love too! Sure, you root for Harry to win but somewhere deep down you want to see Voldemort take him out right? Just me?

If you are a fan of the dark arts and want to see them celebrated on a giant castle in Southern California then you are in luck. For a limited time this Spring they have changed the projection light show that happens every night at Universal Studios. First there was Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle, then for Christmas we got The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle and now for the Spring they are introducing Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle.

The show features Voldemort and his Death Eaters and a special drone creation in the night sky that will blown your mind. The whole thing is narrated by Dumbledore and Voldemort while is displays scary imagery across the surface of the castle. Then the big finale has drones coming together to create a familiar stag Patronus on the side of the castle.

Fans that have seen it suggest watching it from farther back in the park, closer to Hogsmeade because you will get the best view of the Patronus that way. If you want to see it without having to actually make the trip you can watch the video of it below! But it’s better live of course.
