This feels like the one thing that we can all agree on in this crazy world, but why is it still a problem? Everyone I know is very aware that if you are driving in the far left lane on the highway and someone wants to pass you, you move over to the right. And yet, every day it seems like I’m yelling at someone to move over on my way to and from work.
In Indiana it is illegal to travel in the passing lane if you are not doing the speed limit. A cop in Indiana recently pulled a person over for doing exactly that and posted about it on social media. The car had a line of over 20 cars forming behind it as it was traveling under the speed limit.
That tweet has been retweeted over 28,000 times and everyone is saying this cop did the right thing!
I stopped this vehicle today for a left lane violation on I-65. The driver had approximately 20 cars slowed behind her because she would not move back to the right lane.
Again…if there are vehicles behind you, you must move to the right lane to allow them to pass. pic.twitter.com/tePjJ1Xigy
