Disneyland Secrets To Look For

For those of you planning out your dream Disneyland visit, here are some new Disneyland secrets you have to try, the park is full of them!

  1. You can be the captain of the Mark Twain Riverboat. If you ask a Disney cast member to see the wheelhouse before boarding the boat, they will take you to the captains quarters, where you can steer the boat! 
  2. Pull the rope at the Boulder while waiting for Indiana Jones ride. Where it says: Caution. Do Not Pull The Rope. Handling Fragile Artifacts. Pull the rope anyways. When you do, you will hear a message telling you not to pull the rope. If you do it again, you can hear different responses and eventually a big crash.
  3. Some of the Tea Cups are faster than others. If you have a need for speed, the orange and purple are the fastest spinners. The two teacups with hearts on them are the slowest.
  4. You can get a death certificate at the Haunted Mansion. If you ask a cast member for a death certificate before you enter, you will have one waiting for you as a spooky souvenir.
  5. The Jungle Cruise ride hands our FREE souvenir maps. You can ask for a free souvenir at the Jungle Cruise. The map shows the ride’s entire route.
  6. There’s an actual Basketball Court inside the Matterhorn. While guests cannot go inside, it is a cool secret to keep in your back pocket.
  7. Hidden Mickeys are scattered everywhere throughout the parks. They can be a little tricky to spot, and they are part of numerous Disneyland hotels, restaurants, rides, and even food.
  8. There is a secret, exclusive club called Club 33. This ritzy Disney club does not come at a cheap price. With a a $10,000 a year annual fee, there is also a 14 year long waiting list to join.
  9. Cast members give away free pins in you ask.
