It’s something that we don’t want to say out loud because it’s too painful. Game of Thrones is coming to an end this year. Winter will have come and we will have an answer to the question “Who will end up on the iron throne?” by the time Summer arrives.

There is something to look forward to after the show has officially come to an end. The week after the finale airs there will be a documentary on HBO that follows the cast during the filming of the last season. It’s called Game of Thrones: The Last Watch and it will give us a behind-the-scenes look at the extreme weather they had to deal with, approaching deadlines and the attempts to prevent spoilers from being released.

Jeanie Finlay directed the two-hour documentary, which is described as “a funny, heartbreaking story…about the bittersweet pleasures of what it means to create a world.” It will premiere on Sunday, May 26, at 9 p.m.

If you need a pick me up after the show is over, you can always listen to us week day mornings at 7am for the “Feel Good Moment” of the morning.
