Guide Dogs For The Blind Graduations!

By Hope Bidegainberry on June 14, 2018

Guide dogs for the blind celebrates canine commencements at public ceremonies. It’s free Saturday public graduation events that are ideal for family outings and dog lovers!

What: Congratulations will be in order for the canine graduates who will proudly take the stage at Guide Dogs for the Blind’s public graduation ceremonies this summer and fall. Beginning in July, Bay Area dog lovers, kids, and cameras are welcome every other Saturday at the heartwarming ceremonies at the organization’s campus in San Rafael. These public events honor the independence and companionship that GDB’s exceptional guide dogs provide for the people they will serve, but they also allow GDB clients to meet the committed puppy raisers who cared for their canine heroes until they were old enough to begin formal training at GDB’s campus. Kleenex will be provided. Graduation day public tours of the campus are offered at 10:30 a.m. or noon on the days of the ceremonies. Pre-registered bus groups are also welcome.

When: Every other Saturday in 2018 at 1:30pm. July 7, August 4, August 18, September 1, September 15, September 29

Where: The Guide Dogs for the Blind California Campus: 350 Los Ranchitos Road San Rafael, CA, 94903
