Guy Who Accidentally Got Invited to a Random Grandma’s Thanksgiving

Remember that guy who accidentally got invited to a random grandma’s Thanksgiving in 2016? Here is how they are still celebrating the holiday together. To jog your memory, 4 years ago a teen received a text from a grandma who accidentally messaged him thinking she was talking to her grandson.

This phone number mix up transformed into a truly meaningful connection. The text the grandma sent him read “Thanksgiving at my house?” Confused the man responded by asking her to send a selfie so he could see who she was and then he sent one himself. After the mix up, they did not stop texting and he asked if he could still get a plate and she replied, “Of course you can. That is what grandma’s do…feed every one.”

Thus, a tradition was born and he now spends every Thanksgiving at her home.
