Is Lilly bored with her toys?

Do babies get bored?

I didn’t think they did, but Lilly seems to be sick of all her toys.

We bought her a bunch of toys and probably did the wrong thing by giving them all to her all at once, but we thought there was enough to keep her busy.

We’ve got teething rings, a musical soundboard, tons of books, a ring toss game, several stuffed animals, blocks, cups, and puppets.

Her room has a dream tox box for any baby.

So what the heck, Lilly?

She meanders from toy to toy, puts it in her mouth and then moves on to the next, not taking any joy in her discovery. She doesn’t even seem to take joy in her jumper.

So we talked to the woman who watches her while we are at work. She said that she’s noticed too. She suggested that we buy her a few new toys, take away the old ones and hide them, then swap them in two weeks. This way it will make her old toys feel new again.

Makes total sense.

But that means we have to buy Lilly some new toys.

I went on Amazon Smile yesterday and started looking around. I literally have no idea what to by her but I got her a few musical items that light up since she seems to like that.
