Saturday:

48th Annual Millbrae Art & Wine Festival: This FREE event runs all day in Downtown Millbrae. There will be tons of live entertainment, food vendors, and arts and crafts.

Lebanese Festival: This FREE event runs all day in Downtown Redwood City. Start your day with some delicious and traditional Lebanese sweets. Then drop the children off at the dedicated play area to do some shopping at the vendor booths or to enjoy the life entertainment.

 

Sunday:

Brazilian Day & Lavagem Festival: Casa de Cultura in Berkeley once again celebrates Brazilian Independence Day with an annual lavagem (blessing) and procession for world peace, live Brazilian music and DJs, dancing, food, drinks, and lots of folks dressed in white. This event is FREE and goes from 10am to 7pm.

117th San Francisco City Open Tennis Tournament: This FREE event takes place all day in Golden Gate Park. One of the longest standing tournaments on the West Coast, the SF City Open features some of the top players from all around Northern California.

 

Monday:

Labor Day Parking Rules: There is FREE parking in areas marked for street sweeping, residential permit parkingg and commuter toaway. The sections that are enforced area are street parking meters, red, blue, green, yellow and white zones, 1-2 hour parking and 7 day a week street sweeping.

Volunteer Opportunity: The St. Anthony’s Dining Room is looking for people to provide their guests with a nutritious meal and a much needed sense of belonging. If you are over 15 years of age, just create an account on their website or just email them at volunteer@stanthonysf.org. Time: 9:15 am – 1:45 pm. Location: 121 Golden Gate Avenue
