Meet Jazz from Oakland

Jazz Hardrict is a beautiful young girl with a bright future. You wouldn’t know by seeing her that she battles sickle cell disease. Jazz and her family chose UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals for the compassionate care, wrap around services and groundbreaking research of their Sickle Cell Program. UCSF is leading global efforts to cure blood diseases through bone marrow transplants, gene therapy, and gene editing technology.
