My holiday package secret weapon

By 965koit on December 4, 2019

I have a secret weapon when it comes to protecting my packages during the holiday season.

I have the United States Postal Service send me a picture of all my mail.

No, I’m not giving special privileges because I’m on 96.5 KOIT, and I didn’t secretly slip my USPS worker a Jackson. All I did was go online and sign up for Informed Delivery emails.

A friend told me about this FREE service and I was intrigued.

Every day around 8:30 a.m. I get an email that shows me the front of every letter coming to my house. A quick look at my phone tells me what to expect in the mail later that day.

It’s a free service that the USPS provides!

Today I’m getting a postcard for Lilly from her little play gym, a mailer from a local grocery store addressed to my landlord and a holiday present I ordered for Nick.

When I go to check my mail today, if anything less or more is in my mailbox, I know it’s been tampered with. I also love knowing when a package is out for delivery without having to go look up the tracking info.

Informed Delivery is my little secret, but I wanted to share it with you now that the holidays are here!
