Dumbledore requires a guardian who is well-versed in the language of Cat — this means he needs a cat-saavy person! Dumbledore likes to receive pets, but like the true wizard that he is, pets should only be given on his own terms. For this reason, we recommend that Dumbledore go to a home without children.

Dumbledore is also FIV-positive. This means he should remain an indoor-only cat. Cats that are FIV+ can live normal, healthy lives with proper diet and extra love and care.
