Pictures of Lilly’s birthday party

Lilly turned one on Saturday!

It was a very special day and she got to celebrate with family and friends. All her grandparents were able to come out for it which made it even more magical.

We didn’t plan for it to be unicorn-themed, but it just turned out that way. I even got to use my cookie decorating skills to make some almond shortbread cookies and rainbow swirled cupcakes.

I even got to try my hand at making edible lace cupcakes to decorate with, and it ACTUALLY WORKED!

I might have gone overboard and make a giant balloon arch

She didn’t seem to appreciate my hard work!

Just kidding! Although she looks miserable here, she had a ton of fun! We thought she might have been overwhelmed with all the people, but she was a very happy social butterfly. She waved at everyone all night long.

She especially fell in love with KOIT’s very own Teri King.

But even birthday girls need to eat! Bring out the cake! I whipped this one up and stuck some edible butterflies on the side.
