Pied Piper Players is holding auditions for friendly, well-behaved dogs to play the roles of Bruiser Woods and Rufus in their upcoming production of Legally Blonde: The Musical.

WHAT:           Dog Auditions for Legally Blonde

WHEN:           Sunday, September 8 from 10 am to 12 pm

WHERE:         PHS/SPCA’s Tom and Annette Lantos Center for Compassion, 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA

A $10 audition fee is required for each dog and all proceeds to benefit Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA’s shelter animals.  All dog breeds and sizes will be considered, but there is a preference for a Chihuahua for the role of Bruiser Woods.  Dogs must enjoy being around people, especially young children and must not be afraid of noise.  Dogs do not need to perform any special stunts, but if they know any tricks, Pied Piper Players may showcase them during the production.

Legally Blonde: The Musical will be performed October 10-13 at Bayside Performing Arts Center located at 2025 Kehoe Avenue in San Mateo.

Pied Piper Players has partnered with the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA to hold dog auditions for prior productions including the role of Sandy in Annie and Toto in The Wiz, a modern twist on the classic Wizard of Oz.
