And baby makes a troop of 8! We are thrilled to announce the birth of a François langur male on September 8 to 17-year-old, Kathleen. François langur babies are born a bright orange, which helps adults easily identify the infant as they co-parent offspring. The color will fade over the course of a few months to the species’ black coloration. If you get a chance, stop by the langur habitat located by Gail’s Garden to catch a glimpse of this cutie. Keep your eyes peeled as we’ll have info on a naming contest for the young male shortly🧡🧡🧡 📸: Marianne Hale
