San Francisco International Airport is banning single-use plastic water bottles to be sold at any of the airport restaurants, cafes and vending machines.

This will take effect August 20th. If you plan to travel out of SFO and are in need of water, you’ll have to either buy a glass or aluminum bottle at the airport or bring your own empty refillable water bottle.

The airport is following a 2014 ordinance banning the sale of plastic water bottles on city-owned property.

You can read more on the change here.

I guess the question here is, will they still be selling single use plastic soda bottles?
