SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – JUNE 30: An eight month old koala joey peers out from behind his mother Adori at Taronga Zoo June 30, 2006 in Sydney, Australia. The as-yet-unnamed baby, measuring approximately 20 centimeters, has emerged from his mothers pouch months early, as most joeys do not leave the pouch until the end of winter. Taronga Zoo’s koala breeding program is currently home to 17 koalas, with another three joeys yet to emerge from their mother’s pouches. (Photo by Ian Waldie/Getty Images)

Every since the bushfires devastated Australia last year our friends down under have been recovering.  Many wildlife perished in the fires, including thousands of Koala Bears.  This week a wildlife park in Australia celebrates the arrival of it’s first baby koala. “Ash” popped out of Mum’s pouch to say hello.
