When a company puts out a successful product it makes a ton of money! However, some times the product they put out becomes synonymous with the name of the brand that sells it. This couldn’t be more true than the company Velcro. They don’t make Velcro, because the thing you think of as Velcro is actually called “Hook & Loop.” Weird right? It’s the same problem that Kleenex and Clorox faces because they are the brand name NOT the actual product.
