Where to Volunteer on Christmas Day

By 965koit on December 6, 2019

If you want to spend your Christmas morning giving back to the community, the Salvation Army could use your help.

The organization will be delivering over 4,000 meals to homebound people from 6 am to 1 pm. If you would like to help, you do need your own vehicle and bring at least one passenger with you. If you don’t have a car, there might be other volunteer opportunities for you. Just contact Melissa Doppler at 415-553-3529.

On Christmas, you will receive an orientation, a route sheet, map meals and some refreshments for you. Most deliveries will consist of 30 meals or less & will take no longer than 3 hours maximum to complete. All deliveries occur within San Francisco.

Meet at the Salvation Army at 360 4th St in San Francisco at 6 am if you want to help.
