We should be a reality show

By 965koit on November 7, 2019

Recently a Public Relations friend of mine asked me if I knew anyone who would be good for fit for their own reality show.

I thought about it and quickly the lightbulb went on over my head.

“What about us?” I asked.

“Huh,” the friend said. “That might be good. Fill out this form and I’ll give it to my boss.”

I filled it out and submitted it. In it, I had to answer a bunch of questions on why we would make a good reality show. I thought I would share those reasons with you to see what YOU think about it. Would this make for a good television show?

We’re new parents who don’t know what we’re doing

Yes, we are trying hard, but there are sometimes I yell, “dibs not” when I hear Lilly bearing down in her diaper. We both still get seriously splashed by Lilly in the bathtub, and there are times I still break down and call my mom for help because I have no idea what I should do. There are some hard times, but there are wonderful silly times with Lilly that I think would be heartwarming to watch.

Nick is a serious NERD

Sure it may sound funny on the air, but did you know Nick occupies an entire wall in our bedroom full of his geeky stuff? There are sometimes I can hear him playing with his lightsabers upstairs. It’s a constant fight in our house to get him to control his nerdy collection so that it doesn’t consume us all. I love him for his nerd-tendencies, but sometimes it’s a little much. And to be honest, I don’t really care much for Star Wars.

We work and live together

People are always asking us how we make it work when we spend so much time together every day. This way we could SHOW people what it’s like when the mics go off and we finally get behind closed doors.

We ACTUALLY love each other

Unlike many other reality shows, this one would show two people who work together, who are a team and aren’t into drama and fighting. It will show how a family can still have fun and stick together despite the hard times.

So what do you think? Would you watch a reality show featuring your favorite morning show couple? Let me know in the Facebook comments.
