Saturday:

18th Annual Oktoberfest By The Bay at Pier 48: Enjoy a day of music, dancing, German food and of course, beer. There will be plenty of music, dancing, and German food and drink. The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. across from AT&T Park.

Smithsonian’s 13th Annual Free Museum Day: This event is FREE but a ticket is required. Get it here, then check out these amazing exhibits. Lacis Museum of Lace and Textiles (Berkeley), Blackhawk Museums (Danville), NASA Ames Visitor Center (Mountain View), Moffett Field Historical Society Museum (Mountain View), California Museum (Sacramento), Hiller Aviation Museum (San Carlos), California Historical Society (SF), San Jose Museum of Art (San Jose).

 

Sunday:

2017 Bay Area Blues Festival: This FREE event takes place in Historic Downtown Martinez from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Check out the great music along with arts and cracts, beer and wine and food. 

$1 Book Day: The 2017 Big Book Sale: Today is the last day for the Big Book Sale! Choose from over 500,000 books, DVDs, CDs, books on tape, and vinyl, all for $1-3, at the Fort Mason Center’s Festival Pavilion. All proceeds from the Big Book Sale benefit the San Francisco Public Library’s literacy programs for children, teens and adults.
