Saturday:

How can you help the people in Puerto Rico? A group called #SF4PR has organized a way you can get involved. There will be a donation drive on Saturday at Jamtown in Oakland. It starts at 11a and they need bottled water, canned food and diapers.

SharktoberFest: This is a FREE and family event being held in the Presidio. The Marine Sanctuary visitor center will celebrate the return of the great white shark starting 11 a.m. You’ll be able to see live sharks, but there will also be a parade and a costume contest.

Sunday:

Check out the Autumn Moon Festival in Chinatown. This is a FREE event starting at 11am. There will be vendors, food and several parades.

The Blessing of the Pets: This event will be held in the plaza of Grace Cathedral in honor of St. Francis, patron saint of San Francisco. Bring your pet, on a leash or in a carrier to come get blessed. This is not just for dogs! Feel free to bring any pets.
