Saturday:

Gilroy Galic Festival: This event runs all day at Christmas HIll Park in Gilroy. Try amazing garlicy flavored food, listen to somelive music and check out the master cooking demonstrations. The event costs $18 to get in.

Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Day: Get some FREE ice cream at the Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream store in Jack London Square in Oakland. Make sure you are one of the first 1,000 people to get a free delicious treat.

PetalFest: This FREE event runs from 11-6pm in Jack London Square in Oakland. Pedalfest is a free celebration of bikes, cycling, food and family! There will be bicycle shenanigans, an amphibious bike race, dare-devil stunts, art bikes, and live music on a pedal-powered stage.

Sunday:

The San Francisco Marathon: This event runs from 5:30a-noon. The San Francisco Marathon is a loop course, taking runners on a journey around the city, hitting gorgeous locales and iconic landmarks all along the way. The race starts at the Embarcadero and Mission Street, traversing San Francisco.
