Saturday:

“Discovery Day” Free Science Festival Extravaganza. This FREE event will be held at AT&T Park from 10a-4p. This begins the two weeks of science and technology lectures, games, art exhibits, workshops, and hand-on activities.

San Mateo Harvest Festival. This event cost $9 per ticket and is an all day event held at the San Mateo Event Center. Get in the holiday spirit by viewing the thousands of handmade arts and crafts. Enjoy the live music, performances and delicious foods.

Children’s Winter Fest: There will be FREE Ice Skating in Walnut Creek from 11a-1p at 365 Civic Dr. The first 250 guests will get a free admission and free ice skate rentals; afterward, they’re offering $5 admission until 5 pm. There will be more entertainment including face painting and balloon artists.

 

Sunday:

The Veterans Day Parade: This FREE event will be held at 11a at North Point Street and the Embarcadero before making its way through Fisherman’s Wharf. Come salute America’s veterans from various branches of service.
