Will this hardcore diet be worth it?

I’ve been looking to lose weight for some time now.

Here’s the problem.

I like to eat and I don’t like to workout.

Understand why I’m fat yet? It’s not rocket science. I know that you need to burn more calories than you eat to start losing pounds.

BUT I have a new baby! I get up super early in the morning! I have no time for meal prep!

Yes, I know that I’m giving a bunch of excuses, but there is some truth to it. I get up at 3 am, head to work, then rush home to a 10-month old that takes up all my time. When she goes down for a nap, I prep for the show the next day or just take two seconds to myself. Then I’m back at it again with Lilly’s dinner, bath, playtime, and then bed. By the time she goes to bed, I’m so tired that I’m normally right behind her.

Plus I REALLY like sweets. Here is me in my natural state.

Yes, I’m aggressively eating cookies.

Since Lilly is going to be walking soon, I know that I’m going to spend my days running after her, and because of that, I want to be in better shape. I want to be able to keep up with my daughter, and I want her to be proud of her mama.

I did some research and found a woman who is a diet & wellness coach. She offered to coach me for FREE because she is just starting out and needed a test subject.

Amazing, right?

So why am I hesitating?

Because her program is simple. She wants to know what I’m eating every day so if I work with her, I’ll have to send her a picture of everything I eat in order to keep myself accountable.

She is going to see so many cookies.

I’m embarrassed! I don’t want to send her a picture of a hamburger from the golden arches! I don’t want to send her a picture of the handful of candy corn I ate yesterday! And I definitely don’t want to send her that bag of Doritos that scarfed down while feeding Lilly her dinner.

Hopefully, that embarrassment would lead to better decisions, which then would lead to a weight loss. BUT AT WHAT COST!?

What should I do?  Let me know in the Facebook comments.
