“A Dogs Way Home” Movie in theaters now is a real “trash to riches” story.

The star of “A Dog’s Way Home,” now in theaters, has a hard-luck tale that could top them all. Before her big break, Shelby, a mutt,  was living in a landfill, rooting through garbage for her next meal. Shelby is a

tan-and-black mutt who portrays Bella, was discovered in a Tennessee shelter. The trainer hired to search the country for the perfect rescue dog for this role said it was Shelby’s picture on line that caught her attention first. The rest was easy. And what an adventure for Shelby!
