Alexa Is Recording You, Here’s How To Delete Those Recordings

Do you have an Amazon Echo or Dot? As we learned last week, Alexa is listening AND recording the things you say. The good news is that its usually only when you actually talk to Alexa, the bad news is a lot of things sound like “Alexa” and those things are recorded as well.

There is a way to listen to everything that your Echo has recorded AND delete it. You can follow the steps below to delete everything!

  1. Open up your companion app.

Click on the 3 bars in the top left

Go to SETTINGS

Scroll down and click on HISTORY

Here are all your recordings, you can go through them and listen to everything.

Hit DELETE

There you go!
