Caregivers Conference in Campbell May 18th can help your family!

Taking care of our aging parents can be overwhelming.  This conference will help guide you through the process and offer resources to help everyone in the family live their best lives. 

The Aging Services Collaborative of Santa Clara County will host the 2019 Caregivers Count Conference on Saturday, May 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Campbell Community Center in Campbell, California. With family caregivers spending an average of 24.4 hours per week providing care*, the Caregivers Count Conference is an annual event designed to support families and friends caring for their loved ones. The conference features professional speakers covering wide ranging topics to support caregivers. Over 20 vendors and nonprofit organizations will also be onsite to provide valuable information about local resources in the community that are available to caregivers. The conference fee is $15 per person and it includes admission & lunch. Respite care may also available for caregivers who want to attend but need help caring for their loved one.

The Aging Services Collaborative is a coalition of local nonprofit agencies, cities, and businesses interested in supporting family caregivers in the community. Participating organizations include: Alzheimer’s Activity Center, Alzheimer’s Association, Asian Americans for Community Involvement, Breathing Spaces, California Park & Recreation Society, City of Campbell, City of San Jose, Daily Caring, Family Caregiver Alliance, LGS Recreation, Live Oak Adult Day Services, On Lok Lifeways, SarahCare, Senior Shower Project.
