According to the CDC do not eat romaine lettuce because of another E. Coli outbreak

I am so bummed!!  I LOVE ROMAINE LETTUCE!!  It is one of my favorite leafy greens!  The CDC said that many people got sick in Canada and from what I gathered the US and Canada may share some of the same produce resources.  I’m not certain but I think so.  What I do know is the E. Coli strain is different from the outbreak strain from earlier this year. Just to be safe, throw out the romaine lettuce that you may have in your fridge.  This also includes bagged salads, organic, hearts and chopped romaine.  Better to be safe than sorry!!
