I was very surprised that the art of this 11 year old boy actually made me cry.

Hey, it’s Freska and I have admitted that often times videos on Facebook make me cry. I can sometimes be a pretty emotional person and this video I saw on Facebook brought me to tears. It moved me and made me more curious and wanted to learn more about him. This young boy is gifted with a tremendous amount of talent creating life like portraits with charcoal, pencil, pastels, paints and even ballpoint pen . His name is Waris Kareem Olamilekan. He is 11 years old and from Lagos, Nigeria. He became the youngest professional artist in his country. When you see his work below you will understand why he has attracted world wide attention. His talent is far beyond his years. His idols are fellow Nigerian portraitist Arinze Stanley and Michaelangelo. He would like to see his work in a museum someday. I believe his dream will come true!
