I have fond memories of watching Jeopardy! with my parents back in the 80’s all the way into the late 2000’s.  Now I watch it with my kids.  I even took my kids to a taping of Jeopardy! last summer.  I got to ask Alex Trebek a question in between tapings.  He was very professional and seemed to enjoy his job.  As a cancer survivor myself, hearing that Alex Trebek has been diagnosed with cancer made my heart sink.  In the video below he announced that he has stage IV pancreatic cancer.

“Normally the prognosis for this is not very encouraging, but I’m going to fight this and I’m going to keep working,” Trebek said in a video message released on “Jeopardy” accounts. “I plan to beat the low survival rate statistics for this disease.”

We are all praying for you Mr. Trebek and we are with you every step of the way!!

Love,

Freska
