Marvel Land is coming to Disney with a new Spider-Man ride

Disney set Marvel fans into a frenzy when they gave more details on the new Marvel Land or as it is also called Avengers Campus that will be debuting at Disney’s California Adventure Park in Anaheim next year. It will join the already existing Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout. As the campus expands, Disney will be constructing it and debuting it in phases.
According to Disney, may phase one consists of:
- Spider-Man gravity-defying encounter
- Dr. Strange mystic arts encounter
- Ant-Man and the Wasp technology research experience
- Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Black Panther and Captain America interactions
The Spider-Man ride will give riders the ability to sling virtual webs from their wrists and be able to tug on the virtual objects tangled in their webs.
Continuing from more hints from Disney, phase two will take riders on a Quinjet with Black Panther and fly alongside the Avengers in an adventure to Wakanda and beyond.
You may be able to spot these Marvel Super Heroes around too: Black Widow, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Super Heroes from Wakanda and Asgard, and Iron Man. Below are some videos that illustrate all of these ideas vividly. The first video was taken at D23 and actually shows the presentation that was shown!
Check out some of the videos below on how this might come to life! It sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun! Can’t wait! I need to find my video of when I rode
Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout when it first opened at Disney’s California Adventure Park. It was a blast!
