Vote on which Bay Area landmarks should be built with LEGOS

By on November 6, 2019

There is no doubt that the Bay Area has some pretty awesome landmarks that deserve to be in the New LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Milpitas next year.   The Great Mall is currently building out the space where Sears used to be.  The space will utilize 31,000 square feet and LEGO says it will be a place of learning more than it is playing,  “Think Exploratorium in San Francisco”.

They are in the process of figuring what Bay Area landmarks to recreate for the New LEGOLAND Discovery Center with 1.5 million LEGO bricks.  The Winchester Mystery House is a very popular one but so is  The Golden Gate Bridge, the SAP, Levi Stadium, San Jose City Hall, Plaza de Cesar Chavez, and Milpitas City Hall.  All of those choices are on the online “ballot.”  In the event that none of those landmarks float your boat you can always write in your suggestion too.

Vote HERE until November 19th.  The winning locations will be announced on the 21st.

If you’ve never seen some pretty grand recreations of popular landmarks check out the video below that show mini cities made of legos.
