“Honey Smacks” Cereal Contaminated

If you have a box of Honey Smacks in your house right now you need to throw it away. The Center for Disease Control has issued a warning to everyone who has the cereal in their homes right now.

The CDC has linked Honey Smacks to an outbreak of Salmonella poisoning that has hit 33 different states. Their recommendation is to throw it away immediately even if it’s been opened and no one has gotten sick.

Kellogg’s has recalled the cereal and investigations are underway.
