Kids skip school today for a “Bigger Cause”.

Thousands of kids and adults marched around the world today to bring awareness to climate change. The marches have drawn large crowds around the world, and the San Francisco march started at 10 a.m. outside the Federal Building at 7th and Mission streets.

Students at the rally were seen carrying signs poking fun of the fact they skipped school.

“Missing school to march for facts,” one sign read.

“I had an essay due 2-day but this is more important,” another one said.

It warms my heart to see activism and concern by our youth today. I say YEA kids. The world is in safe hands for the next generation. Hopefully as these kids grow up they will leave our world in a better place.
