Getting out the door in the morning can get hectic! Sometimes, no matter how hard we try, we’re running late! It’s great to have these protein packed energy balls ready to eat in the car, or on the bus!
2/3 cup of creamy organic peanut butter
1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup of old fashioned oats
1/3 cup ground flax seeds
2 tablespoons of honey
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Stir until well mixed. Place the bowl in the refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes.
Roll into bites and store in the refrigerator. Makes about a dozen bites.
