Sesame Street becomes a real intersection!

Sing it with me, “Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?”  In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the beloved children’s show New York Mayor Bill de Blasio named the intersection of West 63rd Street and Broadway none other than Sesame Street.  The shows headquarters has been New York City since 1969.  This joyous occasion was graced by the presence of many familiar faces from Sesame Street over the years including Big Bird, Elmo, Ernie, The Count, and Maria!  Who else do you see?

I’m so happy and excited for this.  I can’t wait to take a journey up to New York City with my kids one day.  They also used to watch Sesame Street when they were kids and I want to take a photo under the street sign.  Thank you to the entire cast and production crew for all of the great memories of childhood.
