AYLESFORD, ENGLAND – APRIL 02: Steve Hammond, formerly of the 1st Battalion the Welsh Guards, hands out food parcels to elderly residents at the Royal British Legion village, while volunteering for a local initiative to deliver food parcels to elderly and vulnerable people on April 02, 2020 in Aylesford, England. The Chequers pub in the village of Aylesford has been cooking and distributing freshly cooked meals and food parcels for those in most need in the surrounding area, and sending them out via a team of volunteers as the Coronavirus pandemic continues to grip the country. Many of the food parcels are taken to residents at the Royal British Legion village, an area housing military veterans, many who are unable to leave their homes. The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has spread to many countries across the world, claiming over 40,000 lives and infecting hundreds of thousands more. (Photo by Dan Kitwood/Getty Images)
