Brie Larson Tried Singing Before She Was An Actress!

In 5th grade I was in my school’s talent show and I decided that rapping was going to be my thing. So I rehearsed for hours so that I could nail my song on stage. The curtain came up and the music began and I rapped “The Bartman” in front of my entire school. I won’t lie to you, I nailed it. I didn’t miss one word and I owned the stage for those 2 minutes. 25 years later I think about that and I have never been more grateful that there isn’t video of this somewhere. It’s something that was cute when I was younger but does not age well! I think we all have something like this in our lives right? I know Brie Larson does.

Brie Larson is now a super famous academy award winning actress and the Marvel Universes most amazing hero Captain Marvel. But something tells me that she cringes a little bit when she thinks back to her attempted music career. Yup! Brie Larson used to sing and play guitar and she was pretty awesome at it. But the difference between me and her is that there is proof in the form of music videos for her.

A 20 year old Brie has a very Avril Lavigne thing going on in this music video. Which is what was popular at the time so you can’t blame her. Honestly, she probably could have made it as a music star if the songs were better. The most cringe worthy part of all of this are the lyrics to the songs like the one “Finally Out of P.E.”

What we know now is that Brie is super talented in many categories and don’t be surprised if she rocks out in the next Captain Marvel movie!
