Can You Pass The World’s Shortest IQ Test?

By 965koit on July 24, 2019

What is it about IQ tests? We always want to know if we have what it takes to pass them. I say “we” because the only reason you clicked on this blog was for that EXACT reason (don’t worry, I obviously did the same thing). That’s why I’m sharing it with you. These 3 questions require some deep thinking and aren’t as easy as they seem…or ARE they?!

The test is only 3 questions long and only 17% of people get them all correct. Will you be in the elite 17%?! Only one way to find out…

  1.  A bat and ball cost $1.10 total.  The bat costs $1 more than the ball.  How much does the ball cost?
  2. It takes five machines five minutes to make five widgets.  How long would it take 100 machines to make 100 widgets?
  3. There’s a patch of lily pads in a lake.  Every day, the patch doubles in size.  If it takes 48 days for the patch to cover the entire lake, how long will it take to cover half of the lake?

So…how did you do? Do you think you got them all correct? Scroll down past the pictures to find out the correct answers! Good luck!

Alright! Let’s see how you did.
