Rainer Schimpf was snorkeling off the coast of South Africa when he got the surprise of a lifetime.

A GIANT WHALE SWALLOWED HIM!

It was 45-foot Bryde’s whale, that weighs about 55,ooo pounds! The whale was enjoying a sardines snack when he accidentally slurped up Schimpf.

Schimpf said his training kicked in and he held his breath, expecting the whale might dive to the bottom of the ocean.

At some point, the whale realized it had Schimpf in his mouth and he spits him out.
