Loving Volunteers Needed to Care For 89 Baby Birds

By 965koit on July 18, 2019

Last week, a tree fell in downtown Oakland and that left 89 baby snowy egrets and black-crowned night herons homeless.

International Bird Rescue said it’s looking for donations and volunteers to help feed and care for the baby birds. They said they were already taking care of more than 200 Bay Area water birds, so the Fairfield hospital was already very busy.

It also rescued 17 eggs that need intensive care and round-the-clock support.
