A NICE HOLIDAY BIKE RIDE OVER THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE

On Christmas Eve my family and I took a nice bike ride over the Golden Gate Bridge.  It was my first time ever to do that and I have pretty much lived in the Bay all my life.  It was pretty cold and we parked in the near by Presidio.   I did pretty well on the windy roads leading to the bridge.  The west side of the bridge is for bicycles while the east side is for pedestrians.  I am out of shape and I was huffing and puffing not too far into the ride!!  I managed to get over once I adjusted my gears.  I had fun!  I suggest you do it at least once.  You can always rent a bike and the closest bike rental place is on Hyde and there are special guided tours or you can do a self guided one too.  Here is  a link to Blazing Saddles  if you want or need to rent a bicycle.
