Oakland Zoo Expansion! California Trail now open!

The Oakland Zoo opened a new exhibit that doubles the size of the zoo! Visit the 56 acre California Trail that adds seven new native California Animal Species, Grizzly Bears, Black Bears, Mountain Lions, Jaguars, American Buffalo, California Condors and Gray Wolves. There are five different children’s play zones and an open air gondola. Bald Eagles will be arriving soon! Time to go back to the Oakland Zoo and see this wonderful addition committed to conservation.
