The Peninsula Humane Society & SCPA (PHS/SPCA) will perform their 10,000th free spay/neuter surgery on their mobile clinic tomorrow.  The owner of the animal who will be the 10,000th altering surgery will receive a gift bag of items provided by PHS/SPCA and Pet Food Express.

WHAT:   PHS/SPCA 10,000 Free Spay/Neuter Surgery

WHEN:   Wednesday, April 24th at 8:00 am

WHERE:  Pet Food Express Parking Lot, 6925 Mission Street, Daly City, CA.

Since 2005, PHS/SPCA has traveled throughout communities in San Mateo County and San Francisco with a state-of-the-art mobile veterinary clinic to perform free spay and neuter surgeries for cats and dogs.  The program is the only one of its kind in the Bay Area and has provided families and pet owners with limited financial means the ability to fix their pets thus eliminating the possibility of unwanted litters.  This mobile clinic has been instrumental in addressing the challenges of animal overpopulation and is funded entirely by donations to PHS/SPCA.
